Thank you Dr. Greene & Tiffany!

No video because I’m currently a mess – #thankscovid – but wanted to give everyone a quick update. This pic was taken 9 days post surgery while waiting for a new smaller splint to give me a bit more mobility. It worked like a charm, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get a little faint, sitting there staring at that unrecognizable position, unable to move it much, and in a fair amount of pain. But now, over a week later and in more of a brace, things are moving along great! Everyday I’m getting more and more strength and range of motion. Just need the swelling (still!) to go down some, and I need about 10 more degrees of supination before I can wrap my hand around the fretboard, but I’m feeling optimistic.

Huge shout outs to @shoreortho and Dr. Greene, Tiffany and the rest of the team for screwing me back together (bonus points to Tiffany for talking me off the ledge when Dr. Google had me CONVINCED that my arm was going to simply fall off late one night). I can’t recommend them enough.

Dr. Barrett and NP Tiffany are amazing!

I have to say that Dr. Barrett and his entire staff are absolutely amazing! He made me feel very confident going in to a full hip replacement. I had zero fear. He and his nurse practitioner Tiffany did a fantastic job on my left hip. It was a rather complicated surgery yet they did it seamlessly. I’m so excited with the results that I can hardly wait to get my right hip done.

Just to put this in context, I am deathly afraid of needles so the fact that I had total trust in Dr. Barrett and his excellent team is a true testament to what a great orthopedic doctor he is. I would highly recommend Dr. Thomas Barrett to anyone. Outstanding!!!
