Select Surgeons Bone & Joint is announcing an elite grouping of the state’s top Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Plastic Surgeons and Podiatrists across 13 procedure categories. More than 100 physicians from seven established, highly-respected orthopaedic medical practices have joined forces to form Orthopaedics New Jersey, LLC dba ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ, now the largest orthopaedic group practice in New Jersey. ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ will have more than 25 office locations statewide.  The seven practices, which will now operate as divisions of ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ, include:

  • Brielle Orthopedics,
  • Orthopedic Institute of Central Jersey,
  • Princeton Orthopaedic Associates,
  • Ridgewood Orthopedic Group
  • Shore Orthopaedic University Associates,
  • Union County Orthopaedic Group, and
  • University Orthopaedic Associates

“As part of the largest orthopaedic group in the state, ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ’s physicians and staff will provide the same personalized, high-quality care that patients had come to expect from these established practices, but now with greater resources at our disposal,” said ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ President Dr. Stephen Zabinski. “For example, ORTHO ALLIANCE NJ’s world-class physicians are board-certified, board-qualified or fellowship-trained — some are even double-fellowship-trained. Seven orthopedic practices in New Jersey are merging to form Ortho Alliance NJ.

Five details:

1. The seven individual groups, listed below, will operate as divisions of Ortho Alliance NJ:

  • Brielle Orthopedics in Brick
  • Orthopedic Institute of Central Jersey in Manasquan
  • Princeton Orthopaedic Associates in Princeton
  • Ridgewood Orthopedic Group in Ridgewood
  • Shore Orthopaedic University Associates in Somers Point
  • Union County Orthopaedic Group in Clark
  • University Orthopaedic Associates in Somerset

2. The partnership joins more than 100 physicians from the practices, which have more than 25 New Jersey locations. The physicians focus on general orthopedics, knee and hip surgery, pain management, total joint replacement and spine care, among other subspecialties.

3. Jeffrey Bechler, MD, chair of Ortho Alliance NJ, said the new entity is different from other large practices because it has a local community model. Physicians will maintain their existing office locations and contact information.
